There is uncertainty surrounding our plans for summer, certainly, but we trust that Deerfoot volunteers everywhere stand ready to help launch a second season of ministry here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We hope to run Work Weekend May 22-25. If we have to change that date, we will reach out to registrants right away to communicate the adjustment.

Work Weekend Project List:
- Build trough sink by kitchen for additional handwash station for campers
- Build roof on Archery platform.
- Clear trees for new Guide area
- Finish carpentry in Health center.
- Put in bunks, window, doors, screens in new woodsmen cabins
- Finish Staining Treehouses, lean-tos, and cabins
- Build bunks and put screens in Lean-to
- Finish building cubbies in Dad’s Lodge
- Spread mulch and add plantings around cabins/lean-tos/treehouses
- Build walkways connecting treehouses
- Build bullet traps for riflery
- Sand dining hall floor
- Build two tables and four benches for dining hall.
