Even kids benefit from “stepping away” from th

Even kids benefit from “stepping away” from the pattern of daily life. One of the greatest benefits of a Deerfoot session actually comes from what the DL camp experience lacks: a digital connection. Songs are sung, not streamed. Celebrations are lived, not immediately posted. Stories are recounted, not recorded.

While letting go of tech can be a hard step in coming to camp, it allows our campers to be personally present, and gives margin for them to reflect and be curious. What about you? Have you thought about taking a regular break from unnecessary technology? How might God use a digital fast to refresh your soul?
